Match Maker

Match Maker is a great new feature of the Orange Chat service, enabling you to find chatters who match your preferences. It's up to you to get chatting and find out if you've met your match!

To use Match Maker you must be aged 18 or over. It's simple to subscribe; all you have to do is send the keyword MATCH to 444. You will then be asked to answer a series of questions about your age, gender and what sort of person you hope to be matched to. You will then receive the nicknames of those chatters who match your criteria.

Safety First

Orange puts your safety first. Please read the following safety instructions carefully.

  1. Orange will never reveal your phone number to anyone, so your privacy will be protected at all times. Be very careful about giving away your telephone number, address or personal information to people you do not know.
  2. Please note that Orange does not pre-screen messages. If for any reason you feel uncomfortable with messages that are posted to you or the chat room when you are using Orange Chat and Match Maker, call free on 451 if you are a pay as you go customer or 156 if you are a pay monthly customer from your Orange phone or, you can call 07973 100451 or 07973 100156 from any other phone to have the messages removed.
  3. If you do arrange to meet someone that you have met through Orange Chat or Match Maker, arrange to meet in public places rather than your home. Make your own way to and from the arranged venue, as accepting an offer of transport may not be wise.
  4. Ensure you tell someone where you are going and when you will be back. Alternatively, take a friend with you.

Disclaimer: Orange is not responsible for the consequences of using the Orange Chat service. Please ensure you read the above safety guidelines.
